1. 一些要求用“過(guò)去式或過(guò)去完成式”來(lái)表示虛擬的固定句式. 過(guò)去式表示與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反;過(guò)去完成式表示與過(guò)去事實(shí)相反.它們有：

(1)wish + 從句

(2)主 + would rather + sb + V .

(3)It’s ( high ) time that …(只用過(guò)去時(shí))

(4)If only +從句

2.用(should )+(原形)來(lái)表示虛擬的情況

虛擬語(yǔ)氣在動(dòng)詞suggest, desire, require, command, propose, order, insist, request, 等表示“請(qǐng)求,建議,命令,要求”后面的賓語(yǔ)從句中用“should +動(dòng)詞原形”, should可以省略。

Note: suggest表示“表明”時(shí)不用虛擬語(yǔ)氣.

All the evidence suggested that he stole the money.

3. 表示祝愿

1) wish + adj./n.

2) may+動(dòng)詞原形, 此時(shí)may只能放于句首.

Note: I wish that…不是表示祝愿, 但動(dòng)詞原形可表示祝愿.
